Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at the Amaloh Hotel, I had the opportunity to experience a blend of luxury and value worth noting, especially for fellow travel aficionados. Nestled in a serene location, the property boasts spacious rooms equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and an electric kettle for that much-needed cup of tea in the morning. The clean and inviting swimming pool offered a relaxing escape, and the view to the sea was a definite highlight. The staff, particularly Chamal Fernando, showed a level of attentiveness that left an impression. I even had a forgotten item safely returned to me in Colombo, showcasing their integrity. While the facilities are impressive, it's essential to consider the cost relative to the experience. Although quiet during my visit with minimal guests, it made for a peaceful stay, yet I couldn't help but feel that a few more amenities could enhance the overall value. It's a beautiful choice, but like any travel decision, weighing luxury against financial wisdom is crucial.
